What is UEE and who needs it?

The Unified Entrance Exam (UEE) is taken by students with a bachelor’s degree who plan to pursue a higher educational degree – a master’s.

01

The test consists of 30 questions, with one point awarded for each. It is conducted alongside GCT– a general competency test.

02

This exam is mandatory and assesses the student’s knowledge of a foreign language. It allows testing the level of one language from several options: English, German, French, or Spanish.

03

Recognition and Authority

The purpose of EIT is to summarize knowledge and determine whether the student is sufficiently prepared to pursue a full higher education and achieve new qualification levels.

How UEE Preparation Works

The preparation program at AP University was developed according to the standards of international examination centers

Lesson Format

An individual course tailored to the student’s level, so there’s no need to worry about having too low a level of knowledge. We also conduct group lessons for students with the same level of knowledge.

Teaching Methodology

Continuous practice, mock tests based on previous years’ examples, exam simulations, and psychological preparation.

Materials

Teachers use proprietary materials based on British university programs, adapted for a Ukrainian-speaking audience.

Course Duration

We determine the course duration for each specific case based on the level of prior knowledge and the time remaining until the exams.

When is the best time to start preparing for UEE in English?

Base it on your own capabilities and expected results. For students with A1-A2 levels to pass this exam successfully, we recommend starting preparation 3-4 months in advance. For bachelor’s degree holders with a higher level, refreshing previously acquired knowledge takes 1-2 months, according to our estimates.

Tips for Passing the Exam

UEE is a comprehensive test that requires holistic and thorough preparation, so you need to learn a few things:

understand the main idea of the text from which tasks are formed

distinguish between primary and secondary or descriptive information

identify details important for the correct answer

be able to guess the meaning of unfamiliar words from context

improve grammar and vocabulary knowledge to recognize structures and answer partially automatically

An important factor is the ability to remain confident and calm so that anxiety does not interfere with passing the exam
